On Thursday, Nashville Mayor John Cooper said yet another major event will likely be cancelled. More than 36,000 lbs. of explosives, 62,000 shells, 150 miles of wire, and hundreds of thousands of people are just a few of the things that make Nashville’s Fourth of July one of the biggest firework shows in the country. But, this year, it’s not looking good.
